Today in Beijing was a wonderful sunny day and the many flowers which has been planted especially for the Olympics look wonderful. It was like being on the French Riviera!

Mr Mühlematter says: "Handball provided fantastic viewing figures at the 2004 Games, but in 2008 he wished handball to be among the best ranked sports in the IOC general statistics. Edwin Rudolf is proud of the 75'000 visitors until today. Mr Steimann is reporting daily in the NLZ about what's going on in Beijing and his enthusiasm about the games.

The Swiss victory in the Men's double gives hope for another Swiss medal, maybe there are even more! The HoS with our fantastic working students is always ready for more medal ceremonies.

On Wednesday we did have the great party in HoS for the Swiss medal winners. It was not possible to join the hockey match and so I sold the tickets.
Mot only Switzerland was happy with the second gold medal also in the House of Switzerland we did have a big party together with Federer and Wawrinka.
